I was wondering to where you disappeared.

After I came back from eating, I had a slight emergency. My little one, who knows that scissors are for paper only (this after the hair incident) was being a bit too quiet. Hubby went in to do a normal check on her, only 15 feet away, I knew I was needed when Mr. Calm's voice was anything but.

The little (fillinblank) had taken the scissors to her pants. When I took off the tatters I discovered she had taken them to her panties. Then I found some other fabric scraps and discovered she had attacked a dress she had put on earlier in the day. The dress is about the only salvagable article left. What a mess.

I won't even get into what havok she wreaked in the kitchen prior to dinner!!!

I do hope you enjoyed your unexpected company. that's generally my favorite kind.

I remember one time, my oldest was just a little too quiet. She was about 3 then. I went to check on her. She was in the bathroom and decided to paint her nails red. Needless to say, she made a mess on the carpet, on the walls, on the vanity, on the toilet, everywhere! That red never came out completely.

It was a nice afternoon with my brother and his kids.
