Her plane circled Midway for about 2 hours and had to go back to KC as it was low on jet fuel. They deplaned and went to another plane which finally landed about 9 pm (it was supposed to have landed at 4:25 pm). Her niece picked her up, and they drove 25-35 miles per hour through snow ice and got to her brother's house after midnight! They passed over 40 SUVs, 4 wheel drive pickups and semis in the ditches in the 120 mile trip.
Tonight, it is supposed to get below zero back there. My wife is now a total California Gal and freezes if it gets below 50 degrees.
We had a terrible day in Paradise, 74 degrees as a high and 40 degrees as a low in the Wine Country of Kali!
Of course I have Herr Davis as governor, ChiFi and Balls Boxer as senators and a commy loving congressit!
