Hey, ain't nobody gonna be basiating my bruises except my baby.... ok, except for the Teacher. All right, I just sent my contribution in... Now take that paddle away and back away from my backside! ;>)
Your past contributions are mightily appreciated and so is your kindness in bumping this thread. I hope someone answers your questions. What does "Shalom" mean? It sounds nice.
Oh yeah, I love my Freerepublic. It sure has changed over the years, but it's still by far my favorite web community.
THANK YOU!

Beautiful!
Can I start a shameless vanity now ;-)
THANK YOU CALIFORNIA!
The donations are looking great and so are the new monthly supporters of Free Republic.
If each Freeper cancelled their monthly subscription to their leftwing agenda fish wrap posing as a news paper and sent that monthly amount to Free Republic. Our country would be stronger and better off.
All Freepers please cancel your local fishwrap and send the amount it costs to Free Republic. That is a double blow for our side.!

It is Hebrew. It is usually translated as peace. However, it doesn't simply mean to wish "the absence of conflict" so much as it means to wish "the restoration of what is right and good." Because of that deeper meaning, I write "shalom" (even though it's represents almost all the Hebrew I know) instead of the weaker "peace."
Shalom.
