When Jim Robinson started Free Republic in September, 1996 to expose the corruption in government and particularly the Clinton Whitehouse, he was alone. Now six years later, Free Republic has 80,000 registered members and who knows how many visit this site often, just to keep up on the latest conservative thinking.
Folks, you all know where this is going, Free Republic is a user supported website and it is time to support it. Four times a year we have this freepathon to donate a few dollars to pay for the bandwidth and expenses necessary to keep Free Republic online, and we do so with gratitude and cheer because of what is offered and accomplished by the existence of Free Republic.
Free Republic does not charge a membership fee or get supported by a government grant. No, people from across the World make donations large and small because they see the value of Free Republic. Jeff Head and other great Freepers, got involved, a historical event happened during the 4th of July weekend. Water was diverted as a political symbol to the farmers/ranchers. It may have been barely enough to fill a bathtub, but it started a battle against the enviralists.
I believe that without Jeff and those great Freepers, that these farmers/ranchers would have been rurally cleansed from that area by the enviral nazis from hell.
This was the first stoppage of the enviral rural cleansing of Americans by these enviral Green Nazis from hell. They have been rurally cleansing Americans from their new Druid Cathedrals since they started Rural cleansing via the Spotted Owl scams.
Of course the areas these envirals try to rurally cleanse are for the most part conservative voting areas. They can drive these conservatives out by depriving them from their livelihoods. We lose conservative congressmen and they end up with another inner city liberal somewhere!
Free Republic is the only real tool/weapon we have to fight the enviral nazis as they try to rurally cleanse most rural Americans.
