If they do THRIVE...why not put the pipeline ALL OVER ALASKA? According to your stupid comment, this would actually serve to save more animals.
No need to pipe all of Alaska, and it would be a waste. The pipes arn't there to save animals; they're there to get oil. Since they generate warmth, it gives a bit of warmth to animals. Higher probability of survival. Especially since the pipes are just about the only there there with warmth. It's an isolation thing.

Understood. However, my fellow Freeper was trying to make the argument that because of the pipeline, THAT was the only reason that the caribou were thriving. They'd be doing just fine regardless of it, or not.
