They're not marketing it to adults - it's aimed more towards kids. My daughter likes the purple stuff.

My daughters liked both the green and the purple ketchup. They said it tasted just like the regular red stuff. I'll have to take their word for it as I can't get past the color to even try it! (Well, I did put the purple ketchup on top of meatloaf once-I don't recommend this though, as it turned an ugly grey color).
