Why? Anything "local", with the planets in alignment, can't they just use gravity to whip that sucker around the solar system?
I though JPL was pretty good at that type of driving...
Even with gravity asist it still takes a long time to get as far out as Pluto. A nuke-plasma motor would cut that to a couple years.
