You're right, LOL :) I remember reading somewhere that even the serfs didn't pay the maount of their income in taxes that we do. I really don't understand the timidity of the American people any more. No other generation in history would have put up with the oppressive taxation and loss of freedom and micromanaging of their daily lives by government as we do.
I saw a short piece about all the government cameras that are going up to "protect" us, and the idiots arguing about it were debating about "privacy" rights. It's not about privacy in public places. It's about the ability of the government to stalk private citizens!
