Responding to your post Rifleman, you express ignorance to the issue of the SF training. I guess to somebody who either has no military training or special operations training - they might say what you say.

But even to the commonsensical person, it might make sense that in an exercise where one is trying to evade capture, one may not be in a uniform signifying he is trying to avoid capture.

The spec op guys fell to their own bad judgment and the bad judgement of their superiors

This statement of yours' shows not only ignorance on the subject at hand but lack of reasoning ability. When taking part in a military E&E exercise...oh never mind........you cant comprehend the text obviously.

I find it amazing that I have had 6 posts deleted, most in response to a viewpoint that advocates a US military that is an occupation force in training, or worse ignorance to the issue at hand in special operations training.

So, is it that responses arent allowed that are to the facts, or more chilling is it bias on the part of the person who deleted the posts?

I was under the impression that this was a conservative website, I didnt realize it was a place where radical unfounded viewpoints get to go unchallenged.

I can comprehend just fine. Do you understand that, if you run these ops over and over, someone will eventually not get the word. At that point, luck takes over.

The trainees thought the cop was part of the scenario. They were wrong. The cop thought the trainees were some hardcases. He was wrong.

Was the training worth the dead and wounded? That is a question that the spec ops folks will need to answer. Note that the cop is going to feel like shit for the rest of his life.
