President Josiah Bartlet [played by actor Martin Sheen, who has called Bush a white knuckled drunk] is up for re-election this November. "Bartlet is going to be running against Governor Robert Ritchie, of Florida, who's not the sharpest tool in the box but who's raised a lot of money and is very popular with the Republican Party,? Sorkin says.

Paging Governor Bush, paging Governor Bush...

Instead of giving this guy undue publicity by paying the LEAST amount of attention to him, I say let's just IGNORE him and all his hollywood friends. They WANT folks to get mad and yell for boycotts etc. so they can be thought of as martyrs to the cause of "truth and freedom to speak out". Yep they have the right to speak, but they DON'T have the right to be heard. Where was this article, in the New Yorker? Just how large is the subscriber list for that magazine? Most Americans don't even know it exists, so they won't be reading what Sorkin had to say, anyway, so I say just ignore him!

Could we get a volunteer to watch and post the advertizers who sponsor this tripe?

NOT ME!!

We need a site on FR where sponsors of these actions can be held accountable.

They don't care about one Freeper! I canceled my auto policy with GEICO for their homolusting bombing of the Dr. Laura show. I had 4 cars insured with them for 12 years without a scratch, ticket or late premium. When they called to "discuss' my cancellation, I restated my reasons and their only reply was that they didn't "want to discriminate or make anyone feel uncomfortable".

How about me? They also picked up the homo block, which is sizable but are notorious for "following too close".

"It was frustrating watching Gore try so hard not to appear smart in the debates...."

Only a lunatic would make such an insane statement.
