I live around 1200 miles away from Massachussetts so please excuse my ignorance but WHAT THE HECK DO DEMOCRATS SEE IN EDWARD KENNEDY? I mean...look at him! Obviously that state is going to perennially vote Democrat and I'm sure Boston is just crawling liberal lawyers and businessfolk who could easily beat this guy for the nomination. It's not 1962, being a "Kennedy" has lost its lustre. What gives? Nobody as unappealing as that man has all the liberal voters in that state tied around his finger based simply on his "personality" and last name.

I don't think you understand how many people have someone in their family on a government payroll or on some form of government assistance and they seem to feel that if fat ted is not there their jobs will go away and the checks will stop coming. Also the majority of everyone else (it seems) is in some union where the Union bosses tell them they better vote for Kennedy if they want their: jobs, pension, health benefits, social security, etc , etc, etc....and so as many of them no longer think for themselves, they just do as told and pull the lever for any Kennedy on the ballot.

New York State now is in the same position, but they get Chuckie and the Hildebeast.
