Apparently the Canadian Big-6 Banks, like James Bond have the license to do whatever!

The big Canadian 'chartered' banks are Canada's only world-class businesses. Their privileged position in the Canadian economy has been a byword for a century.

U.S. bankers can only dream of the access and influence their northern 'competitors' enjoy with the Canadian(and other) Governments.

Thanks for telling us about the James Bond License to Kill, Canadian Banks!

Amazing we only hear about the evil Swiss Banks and Cayman Island banks. Until this started to appear on Free Republic, I knew nothing about the Canadian James Bond Banks.

Of course I'm just a stupid old law abiding Grampa not looking hide nor launder money!

Good catch on Canadian Imperial. The web becomes more interesting.

It's like watching an intricate plot of organized crime families; sometimes joining hands, stabbing eachother in the back, lying to the public, conniving new plots to expand turf, strong-arming uncooperative people, the bribes, the hits, the back room deals and everything that goes with it. But it's not a movie, it's real life! And we're swept up in its tide. Our fate is tied to theirs.

Sometimes, when I read all this and think about it, it takes my breath away. I almost feel stunned at the magnitude of it; the implications. And I have to pause, to collect my thoughts.

You may have noticed that I have started to use Value Added re my comments about your replies on these complicated subjects!

Thanks to you and other hard working Freepers, we are able read a headline and then go to your Value Added remarks to really learn what has, is and will happen re the people/institutions in that thread.

Compare that to those who push an agenda and post their innane remarks to these important threads. They detract from the threads and may keep us from reading what the good people like you add to these on going discussions!

I and I'm sure that others appreciate what you and others have done and are doing to "Add Value" to our critical discussions! So you have earned my kind words and compliments, thank you for what you are doing here!
