I am curious, however, about a remark you made yesterday about Pearl's head being stoned. Was that something you read, or were you making an inference based on the similarity of the beheading to the ritual slaughter of Eid?
Now that you remind me of it, I think I had misremembered. I think the mention of stoning of a severed head was made in a thread about Pearl, but that the severed head that it was said was stoned was of one of the victims of beheading in Chechnya.
