I know what you mean. I was watching last night & it was sickening the way they kept hyping up the Kwahn girl. Give me a break. I guess I always root for the underdog. The way they were praising her & hyping her up I was hoping she didn't get any medal at all!

I know what you mean. I was watching last night & it was sickening the way they kept hyping up the Kwahn girl. Wasn't it wonderful to see all of those shots of the door that Michelle Kwan was behind?!?!? There were at least 3 different times that NBC went to that shot. It was hilarious.

How can you hope she didn't get a medal when the press and announcers - not Kwan - were doing all the talking. Get real.

She really loved the crowd and seemed to be performing more for them than the medal. It's just an impression from TV, of course, but I don't think she deserves any negative - just the bronze medal she won.
