Kwan was gracious after Nagano, I would have liked to see her come out instead of hiding behind the door.

People wouldn't have minded the tears.

I'm sure she knew at that point, her mistakes cost her the top prize. I'm sure she was not happy with the way she skated and she needed some time to be by herself to compose herself before facing the media. I would have done the same too. Some people deal with different situations in different ways, I guess.

I guess we'll have to agree to disagree. My impression was entirely the opposite. I can vividly recall a conversation with my daughter on how to lose and how to win, and that Michelle's behavior was something I wouldn't want her to emulate. Maybe we saw different interviews.
