Maybe, we should just pledge to first nuke Mecca if we are attacked again.
On this point (nuking Mecca), I'm not so sure that's a good idea. If we DO decide to nuke Mecca, I hope we have a contingency plan for quickly killing 1.2 billion (or so) Muslims in case they don't react in the way the wishfully-thinking assume they would.
