Yes you are sick.
Read this very slowly so as you might understand. The use of nuclear weapons is BAD. Got it?
Look at Cernobyl and the effects on health in that region from that leak. The leak was not even equivalent to a 1 megaton warhead let alone several that could be used on a missile. We would feel the effects of it of such an explosion too.
The fact that W. actually has access to "the bomb" is frightening enough, now he may actually use it? This like giving a teenager a case of beer AND the keys to the car. God I hope there are some adults around to tell W. NO!

you're prolly right, but you ARE on the wrong side of history here...

George Patton would've slapped the sh!t out of you, and with good reason.

The use of The Bomb isn't bad... a weapon is a weapon, death is death, whether you kill with a W88 warhead arriving courtesy of an MX, or a pointy stick! To think otherwise is to dismiss logic and give in to the emotional leftist anti-nuke hype that has led to the situation I most fear. That is the contemplation of nuclear conflict, sans ANY civil defense in this nation. No ABM systems yet either. Why? Because we let these liberal fools convince us that we wouldn't want to survive a nuclear conflict anyway. I guess we are just supposed to grab our ankles, because we are getting to that point, and thanks to the Left, are completely unprepared to fight that war.

God I hope there are some adults around to tell W. NO! There is a clip in the documentary The Atomic Cafe of Lloyd Bensten (as Representative) pleading for viewers of his clip to write their congressmen to approve the use of "the bomb" in Korea.
This never came to haunt him during his run for the White House.
What makes you suddenly think that President Bush is really Jack D. Ripper from Dr. Strangelove???

Chill! There's a BIG difference between intimidating a enemy with a threat of retalliation and actually carrying out a pre-emptive nuclear attack. I for one sleep a lot better without Bubba's finger on the button.

Well, I do not share antienvironmentalist's fascination with nuclear weapons. But I was probably born because my father didn't have to take part in an invasion of Japan--because we used nuclear weapons.
If the choice is to use a bunker buster nuclear weapon to root Saddam out from 500 feet under the desert or to take the complex by storm at the cost of hundreds of American lives, that is a tough call.
As for your puerile remarks about W, I suspect you were comfortable that Bill and Hillary Clinton had the keys to the car for eight years. That despite Bill being the most irresponsible and infantile personality who has ever held the office of president. I know that if W authorizes use of nuclear weapons, it will be thoroughly and well considered and it will be in America's interest. He and his team will approach that question with the seriousness and solemnity it deserves.
That sort of calculation was, regrettably, impossible for our recent narcissist-in-chief.
