I read the article when it was posted here; I think it was between the two world wars or perhaps even before WW1 that they sent General Pershing & some US troops to Phillipines to put a stop to some muslim terrorists. These muslim terrorists were killing civilians in terrorist acts similar to today's acts. General Pershing's people captured a dozen or so of them and they then proceeded to execute these guys. They first made a big pit while all prisoners watched, then they butchered a lot of pigs and cooked them in the pit. They had a ton of pork and pig hides and pig fat in liquid form. They then, after all these terrorists watching the whole thing, began killing the terrorists 1 at a time. After killing each they would wrap his body in pig hide and smear pig fat all over him. Each terrorist would watch in horror and wait his turn. They killed all but two in this fashion and then told the last two to go back and tell the others that this is what waits them if they continue. The terrorism ended after that.

Fantastic! Could you imagine if that same scenario took place today? PETA would be howling about the "inhumane" treatment to the pigs, all of the Muslim activists would say that we violated their fellow Muslims' rights, and Congress would hold an investigation.

Sounds great. Justice in the true Klingon style. But it would never happen today.

There is a worldwide PC glut you know.
