"Residents of Gush Katif decided to take matters into their own hands," said local Rabbi Yosef Al-Nekaveh yesterday, "and when we were involved in evacuating the bodies of the three murdered Israelis [at the Kisufim attack this past Monday night], they placed pig fat and pigskin on the body of the dead terrorist." He said that a "right-wing kibbutznik" had supplied them with the swinish tissues. Arab MKs responded with outrage. Ahmed Tibi said, ""This is a pig-like act of a man who is not worthy of being a rabbi," while Abdel Malek Dahamshe added, "The ethical inferiority and lowliness that the settlers have reached is intolerable. This is an act of first-degree desecration of God's name... It is especially shocking to think that a rabbi did this." On the other side of the spectrum, MK Tzvi Hendel said, "If these primitive murderers stuff their brains with nonsense about Paradise and who-knows-how-many virgins waiting only for them, then they certainly believe in the other nonsense that being buried with pigskin blocks their way to Paradise." |

This benighted Arab monster of iniquity fails to see that MURDER is an act of the DEVIL he himself worships. Defending oneself is not. He wants to murder with impunity! How dare he use the word, "ethical!"
Amazing that the murder of innocents is *ethical* and the Rabbi is a *"pig of a man," for doing something that should have been being done right along. That Rabbi is a hero. Maybe the terrorists should read the Torah. It isn't just ethical, it's his DUTY.

The reference I found says the practice was originated by one of his junior officers,
It was Colonel Alexander Rodgers of the 6th Cavalry who accomplished by taking advantage of religious prejudice what the bayonets and Krags had been unable to accomplish. Rodgers inaugurated a system of burying all dead juramentados [Philippean Muslim Jihadists] in a common grave with the carcasses of slaughtered pigs. The Mohammedan religion forbids contact with pork; and this relatively simple device resulted in the withdrawal of juramentados to sections not containing a Rodgers. Other officers took up the principle, adding new refinements to make it additionally unattractive to the Moros. In some sections the Moro juramentado was beheaded after death and the head sewn inside the carcass of a pig. And so the rite of running juramentado, at least semi-religious in character, ceased to be in Sulu. The last cases of this religious mania occurred in the early decades of the century. The juramentados were replaced by the amucks. .. who were simply homicidal maniacs with no religious significance attaching to their acts.
My info also is that pigs are raised in several places in Israel, including one government farm, for just this purpose.
Notice that the Muslims feel it is perfectly all right to murder Jews, but it is a blasphemous act and ethical travesty to wrap a corpse in pig skin.
I would think ANY Muslim killed by Israel or the US in the upcoming wars should be piggified after death...
As I posted last night, this may give the US hog industry a whole new lease on life.
