RESIDENT BUSH said in his State of the Union address that ''America will always stand firm for the nonnegotiable demands of human dignity,'' including ''respect for women.'' So far this is gibberish, since Bush has not yet released $34 million in family planning funds approved by Congress for the United Nations Population Fund.

Pardon me, am I stupid or something? What rights do women not have? If some of them weren't so damn obnoxious, they would go further.

This hores poop approach is a tad worn out. Bush suposedly doesn't endorse abortion so if this is true, then he should fork over money to family planning since all they can think about is abortion. To them abortion is the answer to all problems. To emphasize this sick view look at the feeble attempt to drum up support for it:
"Sufiya Huseini, 35, said she was raped in the bush of her village in northern Nigeria by a 60-year-old man. Huseini, who was a divorced woman, became pregnant and was hauled into court for being pregnant out of wedlock."
Of course abortion MUST be the answer. Not punishing the man.
"Huseini did not originally charge the man with rape because she said he promised to support the child and marry her. But at trial, the man denied having sex with her and was acquitted. He soon disappeared. "
Again abortion MUST be the solution.
Actually if Bush could atleast stand firm on NO abortion money to other countries then, I'd believe he truly cares about these women.

One girl who became pregnant after being raped by three men was publicly flogged with 100 lashes and forced to marry a man. What is the Islamic penalty for having an abortion?
To: MotherSpector
hear hear!
remember, women want the right to commit murder if it suits them.

"Huseini did not originally charge the man with rape because she said he promised to support the child and marry her. But at trial, the man denied having sex with her and was acquitted. He soon disappeared. " Now, bless this woman for being so forgiving... but... who in their sane mind would believe a man who just forced himself on you?
The woman was stupid and naive for which I don't think there is any legal punishment, and the man was evil.
To: Labyrinthos
I don't know but some guy got 41,000 lashes and some years in prison in an Islamic country for raping his sister in law. The sister in law got
only 6 months in prison because it was found out the relationship wasn't consentual. (i'll try and find the link - someone I think posted it on FR a few days ago)
Go figure. Such a just society that Islam is...
To: Terriergal
Of course. Derrick Z. Jackson would say Islam is a religion of peace and is pro-woman. He apparently has never been to Saudi Arabia...
