You're the one riding this into the ground...it is not unusual for an engineer to travel. This is Qualcomm country here, I know many Qualcomm engineers and have have worked in the wireless industry. The community the Van Dams live in is a common area for people who work in the high-tech industry. Engineers make good money here and are in demand. You just don't know what you're talking about.

Ok Hildy, relax, I fold on the engineer contract thing. More interested in your take since you are in the area. Let me rephrase the question. Does Damon VD make the scratch to support his apparent life style, $400K home, (don't know what kind of vehicles they drive, do you?) Plus Brenda stays home all week, getting ready for the weekend fun. So, my question Hildy, do they sell "relaxants" to the SWNG CROWD, or is there another angle not yet revealed?

Why is Damon out in the desert and not knocking on Westerfield's door? Damon is certainly acting as if he believes Westerfield is the perp. Would a search of Westerfield's cell phone records (assuming he has any) inform the police better as to his timeline? Would Damon have ways of accessing those records? Would Damon have ways of changing or deleting his own cell phone records and those of his wife and friends (if needed)? Does cell phones have ID codes that could be changed to cover up criminal evidence? Would a cell phone engineer be able to pull that off? Would that make him a valuable commodity to the "right people"?
