More bad news: I talked to someone who volunteered for the search and rescue operation out at Glammis. Basically, there was no one in charge. My contact had a full setup with GPS, topos on his laptop computer, and a fully serviced Jeep--just needed to be told which grid to search. There wasn't any effort to coordinate a search plan by the people putting on the "search effort," and a lot of the "searchers" were rolling around on the dunes, drinking beer and acting like this was some sort of frat party.

Wow, that is amazing. An earlier thread said that Damon acted put out that he had wasted a day in the desert. These folks are just not coming clean. I know it is out there, but what about the Satanic angle, with Feb 2, 02/02/02 being a high occultic holy day? Just thinking out loud.....FresnoDA
