At first I thought the photo was reversed, but you appear to be correct, as judging form the location of her wedding band, the ribbon is pinned to right side.
Here's a related observation - on the KFI 640 John and Ken show, either John or Ken noted that when Damon was giving out the phone number for the search parties on television, he gave out the number with the digits reversed, at which point Brenda gave him a light slap on the cheek and he corrected himself, blaming the error on "his dyslexia".
