On the radio a couple days ago, I heard mention of Global Crossing; I think they said McCain was the biggest recipient of their largesse.

Perhaps McCain-Feingold can someday be buried for good?

I watched a Democratic Party "strategist" during a national TV interview today. He said that the national message that Democrats would run on and win on in the elections this year was Social Security.

How quaint. It made me smile. The Dems are toast.

The democrats wed themselves closely to big government socialism; now that that philosophy is utterly discredited, they have no philosophical base from which to operate. What they need is new leadership willing to take the party in new philsophical directions; Clinton was their best hope for that, but he utterly discredited himself with his various antics. So they're doubly condemned, a ship without captain or course. Which is just fine by me.

"There is no plan. There is no well thought-out strategy, as near as I can tell."

Oooooh! This doesn't bode well for the mighty McClinton!!! Hehehehehe! Oh - I forgot his name is McAuliffe! But then, you knew what I meant.

Regardless of the trouble they are having gaining political ground for 2002, I'm sure they can count on a subatantial number of dupes to believe their lies.

My sister in Phoenix is a sure bet for that klan. She reinforces her ignorance with a greater amount of conceit.

"I just talked to some Democratic pollsters who have done recent polling, and they say when you ask people what the Republican plan is for jobs and growth, they can tell you it is tax cuts and that they will produce jobs and economic growth," Mr. Hickey said. "When you ask them about the Democrats' plan, at best they say that we want to help the unemployed," without a clear understanding of what the party's agenda is, he said.

And little Tommy Daschole, thinking the unemployed is a natural 'Rat constituency, is trying to make as many of them as possible by taking a wrecking bar to the bipartisan Bush economic stimulus package.

"They are conflicted. They are very clear in their long-term message about the budget, but the Democrats are very fuzzy and unclear about what they would do to create jobs and grow the economy," Mr. Hickey said.

Let's help Mr. Hickey...

Forget Campaign Finance Reform
Retire Congress -- Elect Corporate "Raiders"

Abolish the IRS...
The New Economic Stimulus Package

In other words, the Demonrat strategy is:

YOU GIVE US YOUR MONEY---AND WHEN YOU GET OLD, WE'LL GIVE SOME OF IT BACK TO YOU.

The Dumbocrats message as of late can best be described as incoherent. And thats at best... There are many pieces of advice one could give them to assist not shooting themselves in the foot, but as they likely read this forum regularliy its probably not wise to help them out of a freefall...

One thing I will say is the sudden turn of the Dumbocrats into staunch fiscal conservatives when it comes to budget issues, well the American People see right through that charade. They know fully well the Dumbocratic Party is the deficit party, the spending party, the no tax is high enough party, the party that would bankrupt and regulate this nation into collapse just to remain in power... And all the fiscal pronouncements to the contrary by Dashole and Little Dicky will not change that fact.

One of the most damaging issues for the democrats in the last Election was their stand on the 2nd Ammendment.
In two separate newspaper articles, weeks apart,First the Wyoming, and then the Montana democrat parties said they will be working to dispel the "Myth" that they are Anti-Gun.
Part of their strategy to Re-Win the West.
Should be interesting.

The RATS are planning to do the same thing down here as part of Terry MacAuliffe's strategy to "Take Back the South". In essense, they're going to lie about their position on guns. Nothing new, they lie about everything else.

You beat me to it. The Dems can always rely on a legion of non-thinking, brain dead, zombie-like automatons to shuffle into voting booths and pull the "D" lever.

You are correct, they are the party of Lies.
A few well placed letters to the editor, reminding Voters of their Anti-Gun positions should help.
Give em heck!.

So let's see:

They're going to demagouge Social Security

Lie about the 2nd amendment in the south and the west

By the way where is Terry Mac? Methinks Global Crossing has teeth.

People are tired of Enron. It will be a non issue by NOV.

They're still trying to tie Enron to Bush and the Republicans. I saw a CNN headline last night that was pointing out all the letters between GWB and Lay when GWB was governor.

A memorandum circulated last month by Democratic strategists James Carville, Stan Greenberg and Bob Shrum said that "Enron has the potential to shape the entire political environment for 2002

Boneheads.

Before they opened their yaps, they should have done some basic research on FR or the Center For Public Integrity to determine how many Rats got money from Enron.
