You're right, Cynicom, and FreeRepublic contributors can't take the truth: Bush will sign "campaign finance reform" in part because the thinks it will help HIM in the 2004 cycle. On this issue, and many others too, GW is playing the Dauphin to the conservatives' Joan of Arc. But the conservatives can't figure it all out -- they have been HAD! AGAIN!
