Without Christians such as myself and millions of others, this Party and this nation would not have a moral conscience and would follow the ways of Political Correctness

Bill O'Reilly touched a bit on this last night. He said what's wrong with our country is the moral relativism and political correctness which has inculcated America, inculcated by the liberals. How true. If the Christians of this country would have been more active, more participatory, all along, instead of putting their heads in the sand, I dare say we would not now be at the crossroads we find ourselves. Too many people, including Christians, don't want to "make waves" or "offend" others---all to the detriment of their society and, eventually, their children and grandchildren. As Christians and Americans, it is our duty to pay attention to the issues, take action in the political arena by voting, and writing to our elected officials before those officials turn their votes into laws. Sadly, I know too many people who believe their voice is either ineffective or ignored. Apathy is the socialist's power.

Amen to your post. As a Christian I also see many believers sit back and do nothing before, during and after elections. Apathy is our worst enemy.

...if the Christians of this country would have been more active...

According to scripture, Peter denied Christ three times in one night. The Protestant mainline in America is out to beat that record every day, while trashing theological conservatives in the process.
