Excellent!

There are two reasons I cannot stand McCain.

1. CFR - I believe this, for McCain, is about revenge more than anything--another matter.

2. His hatred of the religious right. When he bashed Falwell and Robertson, two imperfect people who courageously represent my political beliefs (and religious beliefs except for Robertson's faith healing stuff) he really scared me. From the reaction of my beloved fellow conservatives, he scared them too. That's why they went to the primary polls in droves until he was defeated.

These two issues, for McCain, are not seperate, in my opinion. He is angry over the Keating thing, that gave rise to CFR. However, I bet a history check would prove he's felt slighted by the religious right in a campaign too. He wants revenge. He definitely feels slighted by them in the presidential primaries. He wants to outlaw the speech they used to defeat him.

Ego and Power are a lethal combination.

McCain joined with Donna Brazile to work against the President.....nuff said!!! He made his statement AFTER HE LOST THE NOMINATION against the Confederate Flag in exchange for her support in the future. Well, the future is here an McCain lobbied Brazile to encourage black caucus members to withdraw their opposition to CFR.

My gut instinct is he was guilty of some impropriety concerning the Keating scandal, how much, we probably never know.

I think he is becoming profoundly evil. I wish he would seek professional help, and stop listening to the kudos from the ultra liberal left.

It's sad to watch his decline, as I used to have the utmost respect for him when I watched him in the House.

Apparently you don't believe in faith healing. I believe faith healing is very real but I don't think it has anything to do with Pat Robertson or any other religious leader, I simply believe that if you really believe in faith healing it will work for you. The longer I live the more I believe that it is our thoughts and the resulting emotions that determine our health or lack of health to a very large degree.
