"If not, get me a beer...because some of us paleo-feminists are working up quite a thirst trying to break up this Big Government's Co-Dependent Girlfriend Idea you're proposing for every woman in America..."

Bravo Merc! It really makes me angry when females like that presume to speak for women. She sure as h**l doesn't speak for me. Never did, never will! I believe that God made men and women different for good reason and while we can do a great many things that were traditionally considered to be reserved for men, there are many things we are not cut out for. I also believe we have the power to plan careers and many other wonderful things. I believe that the most noble purpose for which we were designed was having children and that it's the greatest honor we could have to be entrusted with the raising and teaching of the next generation of Americans. And finally, I believe that a woman has many choices, including reproductive ones, but when a pregnancy occurs at an inconvenient time and messes up your plans, that's when you change your plans.

Say it with me, sisters:

"DEBBY MORSE, BRING ME A BEER!!"

And now, a favorite quote from one of my favorite paleo-feminists:

When we consider that women are treated as property, it is degrading to women that we should treat our children as property to be disposed of as we see fit.

Elizabeth Cady Stanton
