I say they killed her then soaked the back seat with gasoline or some other fast burning liquid and then drove the car to a place where there could be witnesses. Then all they had to do is set the car in drive and start it rolling. Open the passenger side and roll out before it really starts moving.

She inhaled some of the flames leading the coroner to conclude that she was alive in the car.

Witnesses saw the backseat aflame while the car was moving.

Where in the article does it say that a device was NOT found? Did I miss it?

IMHO, if they did find a device, that would be something they'd keep off the record to increase the liklihood of conviction in any future case against someone.

Jim, I'm still waiting for you to tell me why a woman would roll down her window...
