Bush would be no better than Benedict Arnold. In point-of-fact, he'd be worse. Did he ever mention this illegal alien amnesty scheme during his campaign?
In fact, did he even bother to mention it during his "state of the union" speech when all of America was listening? NOT! This is going to be some type of back room deal and they will try to confuse the issue and hope most Americans don't understand. You can better believe it won't be called Amnesty.
There was a major mistake that was bought into by skeptical Repubs last election. And that was that there is no option but to vote for the lesser of two evils.
An Independent vote, even if your choice does not get in office is more effective in forcing change than a meek vote along with others and the promise made by the "leaders" of that Party that change will occur.
It doesn't occur because they feel Secure that the same tactic will work again the next time.
Right now, if an election were held tomorrow, Bush vs. Gore, the same people who are upset about various issues such as this, would vote the same way again. No Doubt in my mind at all.
