I thought Todd Eldredge skated wonderfully well last night. The quad just isn't his jump, but his program was sooo good last night. Too bad his short program wasn't up to par.
Wow, the Americans won the silver and bronze in the luge doubles! And Chris Klug took a bronze in snowboarding today. He is the guy who had a liver transplant 19 months ago. (Gee, I wonder what NBC will show this evening, and what heartwarming story Jim McKay will tell about an athlete who overcame odds to compete.)
And on a personal note, my oldest nephew just spent two days in the Paris airport. It was a layover, but the French are on strike, so no one could get out of the country via airplane.
