You never sound like you are "kidding around". And I take umbrage at your remark. One of my daughters teaches 4th grade, and one of my granddaughters will soon graduate to become a high school band teacher. They have the intelligence to have been anything they chose (in fact, my granddaughter tests out at 172 on IQ tests), but they chose teaching.

I am proud of my daughter. She teaches inner-city kids whose families have been moved en masse to her area. She really cares about them, too, and tries to inspire them to overcome their disadvantages. So when I keep seeing stupid remarks about teachers, it really makes me sad.

Well, T.S.

O.K. I am no longer kidding around. Seriously, If you work for the public school system, you are part of the problem, not the solution. If you work for the public school system, your job ought not to exist, you are just bloodsucking my money for communist purposes. No "kidding" at all!!
