From the title I was picturing Liberace.

Seems to me there should be some sort of records they can check, 'who lives where, who were neighbors, who got licensed within a certain time frame', and if this dead critter was the one who issued the above. Hell of a way to die, frying alive. Doesn't say much for the 'brotherhood' of terrorists, does it???
Of course, they likely had that shared address for paperwork acquisition, and some likely had driver's license identification in other names and with other addresses given...which could of course then be used to rent other *safe house* apartments or other rental properties.
I've been in Memphis university-area watering spots where a doorman would check a patron's ID, find it unacceptable, and fix him up with a supplier of much better phony paper, and at a price much better than those goofs got, though probably for less nefarious purposes....
But I'd say the way she died says quite a lot about the terrorist *brotherhood*....

Thanks. I wonder who did the deed to Katherine Smith and why she was out so late? And I believe she was about 40 miles from her home when she was cooked.
So many questions.

Been in Shelby Co 2.5 yrs and just now going for a DL? Doesn't compute. Must have been driving illegally with NO license like about 30% of Memphians do.

Someone higher up had to also be involved. How high would or could this go in the taxquist administration?

Nahhh ... it's one of those things that apparently kinda solves itself, don't you think?

The title is different and that is why you didn't find it. This story is big enough to have two threads.
I almost pinged you to the first thread with archy and backhoe. The next time I will.

Exactly right Sauron.
Who needs C-4 or Semtex, you can just buy a gallon of gasoline for a buck and do just as well.

Great point!!!!!!!!

Wow is right....this is a big story around here and I'm assuming it's gonna grow. My wife is on top of it..LOL
TN is one of the laxest states in the country for illegals to acquire driver's licenses....no SS# required. It's a Dem voting enrichment scheme. I hope this cans it.

Pinging to keep this tent flap open.
And remarking at a violent example of DMV rage.
Now she's in heaven, waiting all day to get to the window to find out she's in the wrong line.
Probably burning up with rage.

If this doesn't lead to the DL's being tightened up in TN, what will???
To: GailA
Coincidence? NOT!
To: GailA
A little more ruthless and sophisticated? The war escalates.
To: Travis McGee
I dunno about this changing the standards. Tennessee is a doggone peculiar state.
I drove through TN on my way back from DC post 9/11, and one county sherriff's department was actually warning drivers about state police speed traps on I-40! The county was ticked off about the state hogging the revenue, and they figured if they couldn't get any, then the state sure wasn't going to...

The PLOT thickens. We knew it would. It's only a matter of time before we find out how much more involved these creeps were involved with her death and the death of the 3,000 murdered innocents.

Cue the Deliverence "Dueling Banjos".
You know how anthropologists have determined that the tooth brush was invented in eastern Tennessee?
If it wasn't, it would be called a "teeth brush".
