Earlier on KOGO 600 radio, reporter Wade Douglas mentioned at the news hour between 6-8pm that the authorities removed a computer from the Van Dam residence tonight. Now don't you think that is a little fishy?

The investigators are looking for evidence of perversions involving a minor. Their computer could be full of that kind of crap. Danielle knew something, was forced to do something she didn't want to do, and threatened to talk. Mom goes out at 9 pm to party with friends, Dad puts kids to bed around 10:30. Mom returns at 2:00 with friends and Dad joins them for pizza until 3:00 a.m.. (That in itself is unusual behavior of parents with three kids (spouse-swapping or not). What, the kids get up at 8 or 9 a.m. and fix their own breakfast while mom and pop sleep it off until noon?) Before they go to bed, they notice red lights blinking on a burglar alarm panel, and discover a sliding glass door at the back of the house and a side garage door open. (How many friends were at the house? Did they leave together, out the front door, back door?) The alarm did not sound, and the couple closed the doors and went to bed. (There was little crime in the area and they figured it was tripped by one of the "friends" going home from the party, so ignored it.) They did not check on the kids before they went to bed. But someone slipped into the house while the party was going on, and slipped out with Danielle - ergo the doors open, alarm blinking. It was set up in advance - my bets are on Mom.
