We Americans are so insecure that we tend to view Europeans as smarter and wiser. Instead, we'd do well to recall how completely our old cousins screwed up their continent in the last century -- and just who came to their rescue.
As for "Great" Britain, it is a quaint place full of history and a common heritage. But London is a piss ant on today's world stage, and what it thinks or says should matter little to us. Cheerio, hip hip, and all that rot...
