I have only read a few of the posts here before becoming utterly disgusted. The Bolshevic/ Jacobin faction at la Republique libre is out in force. It might amuse them to know, if they had any historical sense, that the Founding Fathers themselves did not express anywhere near the hatred and class envy as I see here. And they had actually fought against the monarch.

John Adams was our first minister to the Crown after HM granted independence, and, in his correspondence home, he had only good things to say about King George. But then the Founding Fathers were aristocrats themselves for the most part, and the franchise in their new republic was intended to extend only to men of good breeding and property. Contemplating the neo-Jacobins here, one can see the wisdom of their initial plan.
