If any comment deserved the Abuse button, yours surely does.
It appears that your parents didn't teach you very good manners.

This is also about a woman who at the time of her marriage thought that she and her shy husband would lead a nice, comfortable private life in her native Scotland, far away from the palace. When Edward VIII abdicated and her husband became George VI, she was thrust into a public role she had never dreamed of assuming and she magnificently rose to the occassion. During WWII their calm courage was truly inspiring to their people.
It is called duty and I have always admired those who live up to the heavy price it imposes.

It appears that your parents didn't teach you very good manners.I guess it depends on your opinion of royalty?
To me, royalty = tyranny

Yes, you are correct. And, this is exactly what I admire about her the most. However, her current role is much more morbid, and now she needs our prayers. This truly is the hardest thing of all!

How anyone could shed a tear for a parasitic monarch is beyond me.
We fought a revolution to rid ourselves, from these despots.
We should only pray that they are sent to the hottest parts of Hell.

Listen, my 4 times great grandfather was at the Battle of Saratoga. I know all about it! Honest!
That's not what this post is all about.

I hope you never get to see your children die before you.If you live past 100 and your kids some a lot, just get used to the idea.
The Queen Mom was in the Palace with hubby when it was bombed. They refused to use the shelter or to leave. They ended up standing above ground watching the bombs fall in the garden. If she can handle that she can handle this, though we send her our condolences.
