"The flag was put up in the middle of this tragedy by these three individuals. This is not an issue of being politically correct, the issue is to remember this day in history and that these three men, our men, took the time to put the flag up to show our love for our country. The moment should be remembered exactly as it was, with these three men."

"Well, I did flunk the insanity test yesterday ..... :-)" My computer couldn't even handle that test yesterday, it had a 'heart attack' and had to be 'rebooted'. {;~)
I was laughing until my screen went black.

Signature number 486 from that petition reads:
I have read the story of Mr. Rescorla, both his heroic actions in Nam and regarding his actions on 9-11. He had the forsight to see what was coming (since the earlier bombing of the WTC he had been preparing for this day) and in the highest tradition of citizenship and valor, he was prepared not only for himself, but for those whose security he was hired to look after. He undoubetdly saved hundreds of lives and went back into the building to insure that his duty was completely and faithfully carried out to every single individual in his charge before concerning himself with his own safety. As a result of his commitment to duty and his fellow citizens, he made the ultimate sacrifice and is richly deserving of this honor. I completely support the effort of this petition.
