Actually, though, kidnapping and ransoming people, is quite old, indeed. King Richard the Lion Hearted, was captured , thrown into a prison of sorts, and ransomed, during the Crusades. You just might care to look into that as well. : - )

don't tempt me. I looked up Cromwell after seeing an old movie about him, then the Magna Carta, the Revolutionary War, the Civil War... and that was just last night.
