That newspaper article says:
He described the automobile in question only as "a four-door car,'' declining further detail. Fayette County Sheriff Bill Kelley said the car was a 1992 Acura Legend.

According to an FBI affidavit, Katherine Smith had a 1992 Acura she was purchasing from one of the Middle Eastern men. Asst. U.S. Atty Tim DiScenza said in court Monday the burned car is the same one Smith had.

The Acura Legend changed greatly from 1990 to 1991. 1990 and prior are "Type I", 1992 and after are "Type II". The Type II has higher HP, more aerodynamic shape. The sedan -- which this is because it is 4-door, has driver-side airbags and ABS brakes. The car receives very high reviews in nearly all categories. (See MSN CarPoint)

CarPoint's Reliability notes potential problems with the ABS brakes for that year:

An occasional problem on this vehicle is failure of the ABS Pressure Switch. The cost to repair the ABS Pressure Switch is estimated at $308.00 for parts and $40.00 for labor. All prices are estimates based on $65 per flat rate hour and do not include diagnostic time or any applicable sales tax.
