February 11, 2002 -- The Taliban routinely abducted beautiful Afghan women as rewards for victory in battle and kept them as sex slaves, it has emerged.

During their six-year reign, the ruling clerics stole women from the Tajik, Uzbek, Hazara and other ethnic minorities they defeated, according to witnesses and officials of the new government interviewed for Time magazine.

This could create a tough dilemna for the hand-wringing, feminist types on the left who are breathlessly decrying the awful treatment of those animals at Gitmo. Do they move on to another issue now, or dismiss this as "right wing media" propaganda?

Glad to see this story is now coming out of the shadows.

If I were working for the White House, I would be putting together all of the evidence I could muster. Witnsses are especially important. Would be having many press conferences about sexual slavery and abuse of very young women. I would be enlisting the help of female hournalists.

This story is huge! It will help us gain support from moderate Muslims from all over the world ....

So I hope whoever has contacts with the White House starts moving their hind ends ...
