It is my belief that the United States of America is the only country left in the world that has any real men. The real men are the ones with BALLS.

I'll agree with you but I must add someone else on your list. Serbia...and the Serbs......theirs are made out of platinum. Look at all they endured while they were fighting the muslims and being bombed by a coalition of 19 countries.

If what we have to "learn" is to excuse evil, deny good, and negotiate with psychotic killers(!) in the name of some idiotic "understanding", then I am proudly ignorant.

What in the world is so hard about committing to an absolute, ESPECIALLY in this case? Those who murdered our people would happily murder yours, as well. And to listen to whatever "reasons" they might have for their killing is to give them legitemacy. Surely, when warring, the best way to achieve victory is to identify your enemy's goals and wants...and deny them. NO terrorist, Muslim, Animal-Rights, Irish or otherwise has ANY legitemate grievances. None.

By resorting to murder, they lose any right to redress. Being "cautious" and "understanding" merely gives them time to regroup and attack again. Such methods are complete folly, as they were when dealing with Adolph.

perhaps we don't leap to conclusions?

Is that the best possible spin you can put on abdicating one's responsibility? Go read some Paul Johnson and get your mind right.

"Which sounds precisely like you don't think of it as anything other than good vs. evil. If that's your view of the world, then you have much to learn."

Sigh. Not quite my view of "the world" as you predictably infer, but rather, this specific situation. But please, spare me the relativist pablum. I've been through that long ago, and am quite recovered from it myself, thank you.

Yes, and cavemen were probably as clear in their thinking.

Who themselves were clearer than relativists, in any case. Good for them.

No, ace. I'm pulling the "America is right to defend herself" argument. And we will do so -- your comrade's approval or no. Learn it, live it, love it.

Pity - I'm a Grauniad reader :)

If you're a bloody Grauniad reader, you're open to just about anything, so long as its from the Left.

How does it feel to be reading the Volkischer Beobachter of the Blair Era?

America can attack states and peoples, BUT unless there is a fundamental understanding that to act in the future in a completely unchanged manner is to ensure that grievances of the past will produce more fanatics and killers, then you will have to lose more of your domestic freedoms.

Stupidity. You people on the left are why our cities are unsafe to live in now - there is no such thing as "evil" per se in your world, unless you lot are talking about the political right, to you any act of "evil" is "misunderstood good".

If seeing Osama laughing his arse off at the WTC is not evidence of the existence of evil in this world, then I dare say you're too bloody thick to absorb the information. You don't deal or argue with evil, you don't try to appease it (remember how well that worked for Chamberlain?) - there is only one solution to it, you cut it off and kill it. The Americans are right.

By the way, your very name is an offense. You are no true Brit so far as I can tell; you elitist leftist bastards got your comeuppance when the Mirror ran that poll about the treatment of Al Quaeda prisoners. While you lot were wringing your hands about those poor Al Quaeda prisoners, most of us thought the Americans were spot on. Do not proclaim to represent the vast majority of what Britons feel - being the representative of a snobbish leftist elite, you haven't a bloody clue.

With the exception of Britain and Israel, we have no true allies. The rest are afraid to get their hands dirty or run the risk of possibly offending anyone. They are worthless.
