"If crimes were committed than it should have been pursued and pursued at the time. What I am questioning is why drop the matter a year ago only to bring it up again now?"

Many of the Clinton crimes were pursued at the time, but we are dealing with people who have no scruples at all when it comes to silencing people and destroying evidence. The only rules these scum play by are their own...which basically means there are only rules for everybody else. Also, we do not know that the vandalism hasn't been being pursued. Bush is smart enough to know that that you don't show your hand with these people. And even if it wasn't being dealt with before June, several posters on this thread have made pretty good suggestions as to why they may have put it off.

Bush is smart enough to know that that you don't show your hand with these people.

They have ALL underestimated Bush's intelligence, abilities, and memories. And, yes, most likely, there are sound reasons for the delay in pursuit (if there has ever been any delay at all); evidence is gathered before prosecution begins. Surveillance is done before charges are levied. Data is stored before it can be shredded.
