Given your "belief" in evolution and the Christian God, can you explain Jesus' resurrection? It is widely reported that Jesus rose instantaneously from the grave. It is also a central tenet of Christianity that Jesus is God. If He can raise Himself from the grave instantaneously, why would He need billions of years to create life in the first place? Just a little intellectual exercise for those who like taking both sides.

What's a billion years to God?

If He can raise Himself from the grave instantaneously, why would He need billions of years to create life in the first place? Needing to & choosing to are two different things. He didn't NEED six days to do it.

Maybe its just the way God wanted it to be.
I believe that if there was evolution, it was designed by God.
I don't know why people have to argue about something like this. We probably won't know the answer to this until we meet our maker.
