Scalia's position seems to be that, if judges hold beliefs about the death penalty which conflict with settled U.S. law, then they should resign. I wonder why Scalia does not think that the same logic should apply to beliefs about abortion.

I didn't see that part. Did Scalia say that the same logic should not apply to beliefs about abortion?
