Oh, sure there is. According to evolution, there has to be a beginning, also, just as Creation says. You have to start with something. Where did life come from? Evolution brings up a theory (based on nothing more than the need for an explanation of some kind) that life began in a warm pool and slowly went up the evolutionary change.

No, evolution is a theory about how life transitions -- specifically it is that over time, allele frequencies in a population genome change. There are numerous theories thus derived from this fundamental theory -- natural selection, common descent, punctuated equilibrium -- but evolution does not at all deal with the origins of the first life forms.

The very first life forms could have been the result of a lightning strike on a pool of chemicals, or they could have been zap-poofed into existence by a supernatural entity or they could have been seeded on the planet by alien life forms (who may or may not have completely different physiologies than us). How those life forms got there is irrelevant to evolution.

Agree with the first sentence, though my blind guess would be "none of the above." Not sure the second one follows.

I'm not saying origins are necessarily relevant to evolution (though I tend to think they would be), but how can you rule out relevance?
