To: who knows what evil?

My parents live in northern Alabama so I feel your pain! When I visit, I have to drive practically to Atlanta to find a decent beer. I live just a couple miles from a store that stocks virtually every beer brewed. I am fully appreciative of how lucky I am.

Just tore through a platter of mussels and clams and I have a tall glass of Pilsner Urquell beside me right now.

Thank you for the photo...it is the closest I will come to a cold Pilsner Urquelle this fine day. The store that sells it also markets liquor, and is CLOSED today under Tennessee state law. When I lived in Maine, there was a facility known as Beverage Warehouse, which had an outstanding selection of imported beer (including Pilsner Urquelle), along with products of the many fine New England microbrewries...I REALLY miss that establishment! I will suffer with a six of Samuel Adams' Creme Stout instead. Enjoy your Urquelle, your dinner, and best of luck to the Patriots in this evening's game!
