Oh wow! Thank you. John has a Mac that I know NOTHING about --and I know this photo must be somewhere on it. Seeing it makes me cry--and smile-- both! John would be so honored by this thread. I certainly am--and please know how much strength and comfort each and very one of you is giving me. I found the anniversary card John gave me last May--and it has two eagles flying together in the clouds with the words "Love is the wind beneath our wings". I know for certain now that it is God's love--being sent to me through all of you--that is uplifting my heavy heart right now. Thank you all so much--and God Bless!

Very sorry for your loss milagro.
I wish you His peace and love and comfort during this difficult time.
A gentle and respectful reminder for you during this time...
Though in this world, Jesus said we would have tribulation, He encourages you to be of good cheer, for He has overcome the world. As certainly as Christ is risen, so too is the certainty that your husband is redeemed. Praise be to our Savior.
1John has provided many insightful comments in this forum and kept God's children focused on His love and assurances for us. If 1John were posting to a thread such as this, or posting to you personally regarding your loss, he would be giving you God's assurances even as God assures us in and though His Word.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I'll pray that God comforts your heart and gives you strength for the journey. Remember the hymn, "He giveth more grace when the burdens grow greater."? I know you can trust Him to meet your needs now.

Dear Milagro, Please accept my deepest condolences on the death of your wonderful husband, John. I always enjoyed his posts here on FR. May John go from glory to glory, may the angels sing him into paradise, and may he remember us here on earth, still fighting the good fight, which he has won at last.

I am so very sorry to hear about 1John. We had such fun on fundraising threads with the fishing tickets. He was a very special person, but I know you knew that, milagro. That's why you married him!
May God give you comfort in this tragic time. You're in my prayers.

Dear E**e*,
The time we spent with you and John at your church and at pizza were fun times but moreso they displayed the intense love that exists between you. That is something you can never loose. John's love will remain in your heart forever and, with that, you will never part. The love you share is a beacon to the world, displaying what a relationship can be if you are willing to give yourself to it so willingly and so completely. Remain happy with his love!
