The DNC refused comment about what Democrats.com was doing, except to say, "We have no control over this website."

Just like they have no control over Carville.

Hay! They're just smearing their own Demonicrat Party with the final realization that Democrats have sunk to bein nuthin but decadent, deceptive, graphietti punks who love to tresspass on valuable properties of others they resent for having acheived anything worthwhile!!!

Shucks, they couldn't even begin to create as powerful and beautiful a RANT as the good Grampa Dave! His rants are not only POWER-RANTS, they are ripe with rational MEANing!!!

I expect to see one shape up and appear... right here!!! (genuine smile)

Est-ce que cela donne? Change d'avis?

Variety is the spice of life... Where women are concerned, diversity is a GOOD thing!

French women are snooty. (Especially to Americans. We are so lacking in sophistication, you know.)

There is a whole continent full of Honeys, just South of this one!!!

Would you have me exclude women like this?!?! (Despite the fact that she would exclude me!)

LOL, it's quite amusing to see how desperate the lefties are nowadays. These folks have too much time on their hands, obviously, lol.

"Etiquette is one principle, but law is another, and hyperlinking to other websites by creating another domain name doesn't appear to be illegal. That according to Brian Marcus, an intellectual-property lawyer in San Francisco. He says there's no problem as long as 'they're not passing off someone else's information as their own.'

He might want to dig a bit deeper.

First off, they're not aliasing another domain name, they're framing the real sites inside a thin wrapper, so that the real content merely looks like it's got their URL.

Next, he might want to look up the way the Ticketmaster Vs. Microsoft case ended up. Hint: you won't find Ticketmaster URLs framed in any Microsoft pages anymore.

Yes, Virginia, there is precedent.

And if they had in fact aliased a libelous name to someone else's website, I can say that even though I am not a lawyer, I would certainly consider retaining one to go after them if I owned the site in question. I have yet to be convinced that libel laws are null and void on the Internet.

Democrats.com draws upon the expertise of Internet professionals who are committed Democrats.

Odd. I don't see Algore's name anywhere .. what with him inventing the Internet and all, you'd think he'd be actively involved!

This could be avoided by putting something like the following at the top of each page:

<script language="JavaScript"><!--
if (self==top && !((self.innerHeight==0) && (self.innerWidth==0)))
   top.window.document.location="http://www.freerepublic.com"
//--></script>

Is Democrats.com a Terry McAuliffe project. Man I know democrats are bankrupt of ideas and desperate to attack us, but now they must throw sand in the sandbox? Bush is driving them up the wall worse than we ever hated Clinton. LOL

Just imagine how bonkers they will be after Bush is re-elected.

When and if we start to realize that in their minds eye they would want us all dead if they could achieve that end.

I agree with you! I believe that if Hilliar and her leftist minions gained control of the government, all Conservative minded patriots would have HELL TO PAY.

Hilliar and her girlfriend Reno showed us how much pain and suffering they are capable of dishing out with their Waco massacre.
