Yeah, but nooobody wanted to vote for Pat Buchanan did they? But you are correct. However, it is my opinion that we much roll back liberalism one generation at a time (one spoonful at a time) in the same way that liberalism was ushered in. But GW could give us a double dose to get started, I agree.

As I see it, rolling it back at the same rate that it was rolled in would get us back to the Grant administration in about 133 years. Do we have that long, and is that where we want to be after all that time?
To be a conservative today, radical thinking is in order. The problem with the current course is that all the "conservative" incrementalism has been in the wrong direction. Continuing to support the direction taken by the GOP will put us in the position of the 1951 USSR in thirty or so years.

How can we rollback govt, one spoonful at a time, when all it takes is one election cycle of Democrats winning and we would be back at square one? The only way to rollback, is to apply the constitution, use the Supreme Court, and bring cases that will eliminate some of the bureaucracies that are clearly not enumerated in it.
